We support American industry by manufacturing our products domestically. Our raw materials are sourced only from American mills, including iron from Northern Minnesota’s Iron Range. Our coil stock is produced in the Midwest, and our accessories are roll-formed right at our Fargo plant.

Open Positions

Production Team Lead

EMCO Building Products is seeking a Production Team Lead to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will lead and support production employees while coordinating daily priorities to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, and keeping production running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and support production team members
  • Assign daily work priorities to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed
  • Operate production equipment and serve as backup across workstations
  • Assist with troubleshooting, machine setup, and workflow improvements
  • Coordinate material usage, work orders, and ERP data entry
  • Promote teamwork, cross-training, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and ERP systems
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a production settingd
