We support American industry by manufacturing our products domestically. Our raw materials are sourced only from American mills, including iron from Northern Minnesota’s Iron Range. Our coil stock is produced in the Midwest, and our accessories are roll-formed right at our Fargo plant.

Open Positions

Sales Manager

Location: Remote within MN, ND, SD, WI, and IA; regular travel required

Based in Fargo, ND, EMCO Building Products and Eastside Machine Company are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead and develop a high performing sales team, drive revenue growth, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across the construction industry. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the exterior building materials industry and a proven history of exceeding sales targets. This position is based in Fargo and requires approximately 50% travel throughout MN, ND, SD, WI, and IA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Territory Managers to meet sales targets
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activity
  • Develop and implement product pricing and sales programs
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage an assigned territory and perform duties of a Territory Manager
  • Create and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals and grow market share
  • Maintain strong knowledge of exterior building supplies and roll-forming equipment to communicate product value to customers
  • Manage the sales budget, monitor performance, and report key metrics to leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Attend national and regional trade shows and events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience
  • Strong leadership and team-motivating abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to plan and manage sales activities and projects
  • Proven relationship-building skills with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales tools
  • Valid driver's license, insurability, and ability to travel
